In the following video, shot by myself, Euromaidan self-defense forces march forward to meet police, who stood beyond the recently opened barricade on Hrushevskoho St.  The strategy, I learned later,  was to fool police into believing the defense units at Hrushevskoho were preparing to attack police en masse in order to draw them away from Mariinsky Park, where clashes were taking place at this moment.  Soon after this video ends, self-defense forces pull back through the barricade, after the police produce more bodies to meet what ended up a smart bluff.
